Section of Medical And Employee Relations

Introduction

The Medical and Employee Relations Section is part of the structure of Human Resource Services Division, Registrar Office, Universiti Putra Malaysia.

 

Functions of the Medical and Employee Relations Section

The function of this section include:

1. To plan, manage, monitor and implement medical facilities for UPM staff and retirees such:

a) Payment of Panel Clinic Bills, Government / University Hospitals, IJN, Hemodialysis Centre, LPPKN, National Tuberculosis Centre and University Health Centre;

b) Appointment of Panel Clinics and Hemodialysis Treatment Centres;

c) Medical / dental / health check-up of staff claims;

d) Updating staff / dependent information in the e-IHRAM system;

e) Medical Board Management.

2. To organize and handle UPM Medical Committee Meeting.

3. To prepare and cope with uniforms and safety clothing for UPM officers.

4. To organize and handle Departmental Joint Council Meetings.

5. To regulate and monitor management of UPM quarters.

6. To supervise LPPSA housing loan applications.

7. To deal house move allowance claims (LPPSA loan and move in / out of quarters).

8. To control EPF withdrawal applications for retired employees.

9. To run application for employer's confirmation letter and single certificate.

10. To plan and coordinate UPM Staff Welfare Fund Governance Committee Meeting.

11. To regulate UPM Staff Welfare Fund donation application.
