REMUNERATION AND APPRAISAL

Function/Role

Remuneration and Appraisal responsible for :

  1. Process for Annual salary increment to UPM staff, four (4) times a year in January, April, July and October adn process the salary adjustment due to LPPT, study leave, unpaid leave, disciplinary actions, payroll and related changes
  2. Produce and monitor Annual Performance Evaluation Report Form to all UPM's staff
  3. Processing applications for allowances for all officers in the service of UPM. Some allowances are not fixed at UPM are as follows :
  • Regional Incentive Allowance
  • Regional Housing Allowance
  • Special Responsibility Driver Allowance
  • Mortuary Allowance
  • Warm Clothing Allowance
  • Critical (Craftsman) Allowance
  • Store Management Allowance
  • Special Assistance Allowance
  • Dual Language Allowance
  • Fares Allowance Visiting the Region
  • Ceremonial Dress / Formal Dress / Black Tie Allowance
  • Post Basic Incentive Allowance
  • Financial Duties Incentive Payment (BITK) Allowance
  • Takes Work Allowance
  • Acting Job Allowance
