Section of Remuneration and Appraisal

Introduction

The Remuneration and Performance Section is part of the structure of the Human Resource Services Division, Registrar Office which plays roles in managing Remuneration, Performance and Allowances for Universiti Putra Malaysia staff covering the Serdang Campus and the Bintulu Campus.

Functions of Remuneration and Appraisal Section

The function of this section covers the following scope:

1. Remuneration Management:

  • Manage and ensure the annual salary movement process (PGT) automatically according to the month of staff salary movement (subject to the decision and confirmation of the parent Human Resource Development Panel (PPSM) and the circular in effect);
  • Manage and process the payment of special financial assistance and salary adjustments in accordance with the circular in force.

2. Appraisal Management:

  • Manage and ensure the annual staff performance evaluation for the Management and Professional Group (Academic and Non-Academic) as well as Executive Team Members (AKP) are carried out according to the established period;
  • Manage and ensure the PPSM Main Committee make a certificate for the determination of the Annual Salary Movement and the awarding of the Excellent Service Award according to the time period that has been set.

3. Allowance Management

a) Manage applications for non-fixed allowances and incentive payments to qualified UPM staff.
